Peter Vanhoof grew up in Flanders. He studied Agriculture at the HIK in Geel (now: Karel de Grote University College). Since his marriage in 1997 he lives in Poland where he has a beekeeping business. In 2007, Peter followed a course in France about bioelectronic measurements in agriculture, given by Michel Barbaud, an agronomist with 40 years of experience in this matter. Shortly after this course Peter bought a device and started measuring apicultural problems. Since 2009 he started using measurements on farms, first in the Netherlands, later also in France, Belgium and Germany.

In the course of seven years of measuring, observing, comparing and experimenting and being lucky enough to meet the right people, Peter developed a unique measuring method, which he uses as a basis for advice.

The basic idea is to give biology plenty of opportunities for development through the entire food chain at farm level.
